1. What is ServiGO?
ServiGO is a simple and secure platform to request or carry out small paid services near you. Everyone can use it, minors as well as adults, to find help or offer their skills in their city or neighborhood.
2. Who is it for?
- 👦 Minors and adults (parental authorization required for minors)
- 👪 Individuals only (no businesses)
- 📍 Local proximity: find or offer services close to home
3. How does it work?
- Create an account (first name/nickname, age, city, photo)
- Post a request (title, description, category, price, date, address, photo...)
- Browse listings around you (filter by distance, price, category...)
- Reply to a listing ("I'm interested", message, possible counteroffer)
- Secure payment: the money is held until the mission is approved
- Rating: each completed mission can be rated (punctuality, quality, friendliness...)
- Built-in messaging to communicate easily
- Report button available in case of an issue
4. Safety & payment
- 🔒 Secure payment: funds are held until both parties validate the mission
- 🛡️ Disputes: in case of disagreement, a contestation and admin arbitration process is available
- ⭐ Rating: every user can be rated on several criteria
- 🚨 Reporting: a button lets you report inappropriate behavior

Secure payment system
- Initial proposal
- A user makes an offer to the provider
- They can discuss through the integrated chat
- The provider may accept or refuse the offer
- Mission validation
- Once both parties accept the mission
- The service date must be clearly defined
- The funds are securely held for both users
- A "Mission completed" or "Mission refused" button is available at any time
- Service execution
- The provider carries out the mission as agreed
- At the end, both parties meet physically or virtually
- Final validation
- The two parties confirm on the platform that everything went well (using the dedicated button)
- They can file a dispute if an issue occurs:
- The dispute requires a detailed explanation and photo/video evidence (for the admin team to review)
- Payment processing
- If both validate: the amount is transferred to the provider according to the agreed terms
- If there is a dispute: the admin team reviews the evidence and arbitrates
- If both refuse: the funds are returned to each party
If the two parties disagree
- 48-hour window to challenge
- If no dispute is submitted within this time: the money is automatically refunded to the requester
- If a dispute is submitted: the resolution process starts
- Filing the dispute
- The person who contests must complete a form with:
- A detailed explanation of the issue
- Evidence (photos/videos) to prove good faith
- The other party receives a notification and can review and reply (with their own evidence if needed)
- Possibility to change the decision
- During the dispute period, both parties can modify their vote to reach an agreement
- If they agree: the payment is processed accordingly (validation or refund)
- Admin arbitration (if needed)
- If the dispute remains after 48 hours, administrators decide (within 15 days) by reviewing:
- The submitted evidence
- The conversation history
- Final decision:
- If the provider is right: they receive the payment
- If the requester is right: full refund
- Sanction: the losing party gets a note on their profile ("dispute lost")
5. Frequently asked questions
- Is there a fee? Registration is free. A commission applies only on completed missions.
- Who can post a listing? Any registered person, minor or adult.
- How does the payment work? Funds are held and only transferred if both parties validate the mission.
- What if there's a problem? Use the "Report" button or start a dispute. The admin team will assist you.
- How are ratings calculated? Average of the criteria (punctuality, quality, friendliness, etc.).
